Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Co-Captain Tevita Ikanivere believes being part of the World Rugby Level 1 Coaching Course has enabled him to have a stronger understanding of rugby and its principles of player development.
“It has helped me on the things I can fix to be a great player- in situations and actions that I can do to be better on the field.”
"It has further developed our understanding of rugby and how we can better our performance on the field.”
“The participants were interactive from the go especially with the experience they brought. So, it was quite easy in terms of understanding the principles. The session today is World Rugby Level 1 Coaching Course, done to most of our Drua players. The aim of the session is to help educate the players to know the benefits of coaching and the things from the coaching perspective that can help them improve on their game. Most importantly translate your learnings back to the community and society that you look after.”
